First bore holes need to be drill for diameter of Cardox Tubes being used and then drilled to proper depth. Cardox tubes are then assembled and placed into bore holes. Cardox tubes are then wired together. Once wired together a method for restraining tubes need to be decided upon.  Typically old conveyor belt or blasting mats are placed over tubes and then held down by sand or earth filled big bags. Large concrete slabs can also be employed if care is taken in placing them on buried tubes as to not damage tubes or disrupt connections of circuit.

When utilizing Cardox in these endeavors holes drilled for tube insertion should always be drilled in back from a free face of area to be cleared.

Because the Cardox Non Detonating Gas expansion technology is subsonic, use in or around sensitive areas is preferred to conventional explosives.
