Each ES-screw feeder is equipped with helicoid screw flighting, After the flighting are welded on their center tubes the screws are thoroughly balanced.

For ES-screw conveyors a wide range of gear reduction units are available to be mounted as direct drives.

Screws have been developed for specific purposes. The milling screw conveyor for example has synthetic bearings, intermediate bearings that do not require greasing, stood off end bearings with stuffing boxes; whereas the cement screw conveyor is more robust and has bearings integral with the end plates.
